As an IT supplier of the Volvo Group, we contribute to the managerial efficiency and profit creation of the customers.

 　
　

Since it was formed in February 1989 under the name of System Brain Co.,Ltd our company,as the IT supplier of the Nissan Diesel group, has consistently contributed to augment the competitiveness and profit creation of Nissan Diesel group and many customers outside of the group.
With the recent entry to our parent organization, Nissan Diesel Motor Co.,Ltd in the Volvo Group, we have integrated with Volvo IT, which is the IT supplier of Volvo group, and have changed our corporate name to Volvo Information Technology Japan Co.,Ltd.
The newly formed Volvo Information Technology Japan Co.,Ltd
aims to expand it's fields globally, enhances the know how, technology and support systems and continues contributing to the managerial efficiency and profit creation of the customers. The corporate name has been changed from `System Brain Co.,Ltd` to `Volvo Information Technology Japan Co.,Ltd`with effect from
1 February 2008.

Volvo IT Japan was formed from Information Division of Nissan Diesel Motors and functions as an
independent company. With vast amount of experience gained over the years, command over use of
advanced technologies and offering system solutions, Volvo IT Japan works in diversified fields from
System Consulting to Development Operations. Development scope of Volvo IT Japan includes Mainframes,
Client-Server systems and Internet systems, commanding rich experience in each. At Volvo IT Japan,
we build information systems keeping in mind the future and following the principle of “providing customer
satisfying information services, which will help in growth and expansion of customer's interests.”

History History
1989 February : Founded
1993 March : Omiya branch established in Nakamachi, Omiya city.
Tokyo office name changed to Tokyo branch.
1996 July : Tokyo branch moved to Kanda Nishikityo Sakura building.
1998 July : Capital increased to JPY 95 million.
August : Head office moved to SS building.
October : Signed agreement as R/3 implementation partner.
1999 May : Tokyo branch integrated into head office.
2000 March : Omiya branch moved to Nakamachi Kawanabe building.
December : Signed agreement as mySAP.com services partner.
2002 March : Acknowledged as a SI authorizing company by the Ministry of Economy,
Trade and Industry.
2005 July : Achieved CMM (Capability Maturity Model) level 2.
2006 December : Achieved CMM level 3.
2008 February : Changed the name to Volvo Information Technology Japan Co.,Ltd.
